Gela Samkharauli was unanimously elected as the First Deputy Chairman of the Agrarian Issues Committee at today's sitting.

Gela Samkharauli was nominated by her colleagues Nino Tsilosani, Chair of the Committee.

“Gela Samkharauli headed the Agrarian Issues Committee in the Parliament of the Eighth Convocation, and was the First Deputy Chairman of the Committee in the Parliament of the Ninth Convocation. I think that due to the need for the vacancy of the First Deputy Chairman of the Committee, my proposal for the candidacy is justified”, - Nino Tsilosani stated in connection with the nomination.

At the same meeting, the Committee amended the composition of the Working Group at the Agrarian Committee on Tea-Growing Problems.

Khatia Tsilosani, a member of the Committee, will lead the Group instead of MP Alexander Motserelia.
