The Chair of the Defence and Security Committee of the Parliament of Georgia, Aleksandre Tabatadze, took part in an event dedicated to Georgia’s Independence Day, organised by the Embassy of Georgia in the Kingdom of Spain.

As part of the event, an award ceremony was held during which representatives of the Spanish Ministry of the Interior were presented with certificates of appreciation for successful cooperation.

In recognition of effective police collaboration, Aleksandre Tabatadze awarded the Head of the Criminal Police of Spain’s Civil Guard, Brigadier General Alfonso López Malo, with a certificate of appreciation from the Minister of Internal Affairs of Georgia.
