The Chair of the Committee, Anri Okhanashvili and the Committee members held a meeting with the Chairperson of the Legal Affairs Committee of the German Bundestag, Elisabeth Winkelmeier-Becker and the Committee members serving the visit to Georgia.

The parties exchanged their positions concerning the further plans of the two Committees.

A. Okhanashvili introduced the degree of engagement of the Committee in court-related issues and the further steps of the Committee in regard to the 9-point plan.

“Our German colleagues express their commitment to supporting our country on the EU integration path. Their visit and today’s meeting serve as clear evidence of the intact support of Germany to Georgia”, - A. Okhanashvili stated.

The meeting was attended by the Ambassador of Germany, H.E. Peter Fischer.
