Beka Odisharia, Chairman of the Diaspora and Caucasus Issues Committee and leader of the parliamentary friendship group with the Parliament of the Republic of Cuba, held a meeting with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Cuba to Georgia, H.E. Carlos Enrique Valdés de la Concepción.

During the meeting, Beka Odisharia introduced the Ambassador to the key areas of focus for the Diaspora and Caucasus Issues Committee. In return, Ambassador Carlos Enrique Valdés de la Concepción provided insights into the activities of the Cuban diplomatic mission in Georgia.

Beka Odisharia emphasized the importance of further enhancing inter-parliamentary cooperation between the two nations, emphasizing the role of friendship groups in fostering such collaboration. He also stressed the need to develop relations in areas such as economics, culture, and tourism.

Both parties expressed their commitment to continuing cooperation in the future.
