Eka Chichinadze, the First Deputy Chair of the Culture Committee, met with the Ambassador of Armenia, H.E. Ashot Smbatyan and deliberated on the Georgia-Armenia cultural relations. 

 

The Ambassador expressed an initiative to organize the exhibition in Georgia. According to him, the exhibition shall be dedicated to the works of the Georgian and Armenian artists - Sofiko Chiaureli and Frunzik Mkrtchyan. The unknown, unique photo material shall be exposed, reflecting the interesting moments of their creative lives. 

 

E. Chichinadze expressed her support for the initiative and noted that events like this will further enhance the ties between the two countries in the cultural and arts spheres. 

 

The parties reviewed the cooperation prospects and emphasized that the joint projects will facilitate the cultural dialogue and the preservation of the historical heritage
