Eka Sepashvili, the First Deputy Chair of the Sector Economy and Economic Policy Committee, met with a delegation of media representatives of Turkmenistan.

At the meeting, the guests expressed their interest in the issues of Georgia's integration with Europe, freedom of the media, and the draft law on Transparency of Foreign Influence.

We had an in-depth conversation about the media landscape and the promotion of media pluralism in Georgia, including the legislative changes that have been implemented. The discussion also focused on the draft law on Transparency of Foreign Influence and the challenges associated with it, particularly the issue of disinformation and fake news.
