The Vice Speaker of the Parliament, Giorgi Kakhiani, and member of the Friendship Group with the Parliament of the Republic of Uzbekistan, David Matikashvili, held a meeting with the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Bobur Usmanov.

During the meeting, they engaged in discussions concerning the current relations between the two countries and explored avenues to enhance cooperation in various areas, including through parliamentary cooperation.

"During the meeting, which took place in a warm and friendly atmosphere, we discussed the challenges confronting our respective countries. Our conversation revolved around fortifying the historically established relations between our people and states, as well as enhancing parliamentary cooperation", - Giorgi Kakhian commented after the meeting.
