Giorgi Volski and Irakli Mezurnishvili meeting with the members of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference

Giorgi Volski, the First Vice-Speaker and the Head of the Georgia-China Friendship Group, and Irakli Mezurnishvili, a Group member, held a meeting with the members of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC).
The parties reviewed the Georgia-China relations and the cooperation prospects.
“The bilateral relations between Georgia and China have recently been strengthened. We have established ourselves as strategic partners and implemented a visa-free regime, enabling Georgian and Chinese citizens to freely enter our countries. We also enjoy the direct flights to the city of Ürümqi. As noted, the enhancement of bilateral relations and links between our countries requires more direct flights between various cities, including the Capitals. We also touched upon the tourism development and cultural ties”, - I. Mezurnishvili noted.
The meeting was attended by the Ambassador of China to Georgia, H.E. ZHOU Qian.
