The First Vice-Speaker, and the Chair of the Interim Commission on Restoration of Territorial Integrity and De-occupation, Giorgi Volski met with the Special Representative of the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office for the South Caucasus, Ambassador Christoph Späti.

The parties discussed the importance of the Geneva International Discussions and reviewed the outcomes of the Incident Prevention and Response Mechanism (IPRM) meetings held in Ergneti. They also examined the current situation in the region and ongoing political developments.

“From next year, Switzerland will assume the presidency of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe. During the meeting with the Special Representative of the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office for the South Caucasus—who is involved in the Geneva Discussions format as one of the Co-Chairs—we discussed the importance of the Geneva International Discussions and reviewed the outcomes of the Incident Prevention and Response Mechanism (IPRM) meetings held in Ergneti. We also reviewed the situation and political processes in the region,” - Giorgi Volski stated following the meeting.
