First Vice Speaker of the Parliament of Georgia and Chair of the Interim Commission on the Restoration of Territorial Integrity and De-occupation, Giorgi Volski, met with Joanna Barton, Head of Delegation of the International Committee of the Red Cross, and Agnès Coutou, the ICRC’s Delegate for Missing Persons Issues in the Caucasus.

The participants discussed issues related to the existing cooperation between Georgia and the International Committee of the Red Cross.

The meeting also addressed matters concerning the humanitarian situation in the Abkhazia and Tskhinvali regions. In addition, particular attention was paid to areas of cooperation between the International Committee and various state institutions.
