The Head of the Georgia-Iran Friendship Group, the First Deputy Chair of the Diaspora and Caucasus Issues Committee, Givi Chichinadze held an introductory meeting with the newly appointed Ambassador of Iran, H.E. Mahmoud Adib.

The parties overviewed the prospects of cooperation in the trade-economic and cultural spheres and highlighted the enhancement of the Parliamentary links.

As G. Chichinadze noted, the Georgian Parliament is hosting the Delegation of the Iranian Majles in December to be followed by the counter visit of the Georgian MPs. G. Chichinadze wished good luck to the Ambassador in his activity and hoped for further enhancement of the bilateral relations
