Irakli Kadagishvili, the Chair of the Regional Policy and Self-Government Committee, hosted the Ambassador of Armenia, H.E. Ashot Smbatyan and deliberated on bilateral relations and parliamentary cooperation prospects.

The Chair of the Committee and the Ambassador underlined the significance of collaboration between the parliaments and the governments in various spheres.

As highlighted, the dialogue on bilateral and regional issues requires constant contact and active communication.

The Ambassador offered to organise a working visit of the Committee to Yerevan in order to strengthen the ties.

Irakli Kadagishvili welcomed the initiative and expressed his commitment to meeting his Armenian colleagues.
