Eka Chichinadze, Culture Committee’s First Deputy Chair meeting with the Ambassador of Armenia

Eka Chichinadze, the First Deputy Chair of the Culture Committee, met with the Ambassador of Armenia, H.E. Ashot Smbatyan.
The discourse addressed the enhancement of the cultural ties and the cooperation prospects. Special emphasis was placed on organizing exhibitions and cultural events in both countries.
The exhibition dedicated to the works of Georgian and Armenian People’s Artists, Sopiko Chiaureli and Frunzik Mkrtchyan, was the centrepiece of the conversation.
The significance of this exhibition was underscored, highlighting the shared artistic heritage of the two nations. The conversation encompassed the project “Women Behind the Scenes”, aiming at the empowerment of women and the facilitation of their creative activities.
The parties mutually pledged their commitment to strengthening cultural ties and proceeded to the chairman of the Parliament of Georgia met with the Papik general assembly president the respective agreements, thereby establishing a new foundation for cooperation in the cultural domain.
