Chair of the Education, Science and Youth Affairs Committee, Mariam Lashkhi, met with students of Ekvtime Takaishvili Surami Public School No. 2 and provided them with information about the ongoing reforms in the education sector.

Mariam Lashkhi informed the students about the main areas of Parliament’s activities and the legislative process.

Particular attention was paid to reforms in general and higher education, as well as to important innovations envisaged within the framework of the reform.

The meeting was held in a question-and-answer format, during which students asked questions on topics of interest to them.

The students also toured the Parliament Palace and the Ekvtime Takaishvili Museum of Georgian Parliamentarianism.
