The Chair of the Education, Science and Youth Affairs Committee, Mariam Lashkhi, met with the Vice President of the Georgian National Academy of Sciences, Ramaz Khurodze.

The Committee Chair also visited the archive of the Academy of Sciences.

“We must preserve the Georgian language while also following development trends and strengthening it. To achieve this, it is important for the state to work in a coordinated manner with the Academy of Sciences and experts who are engaged, among other fields, in artificial intelligence and scientific research. Their involvement in the digitalization process is highly important.

The archive of the Academy of Sciences contains unique materials and information. It is essential that the archive is properly protected and, at the same time, digitized. We agreed to continue working in this direction together with relevant institutions”, - Mariam Lashkhi stated.
