The Vice Speaker of the Parliament of Georgia and Head of the Georgia–Bulgaria Parliamentary Friendship Group, Nino Tsilosani, and the Chair of the EU Integration Committee, Levan Makhashvili, held a farewell meeting with the Ambassador of Bulgaria to Georgia, Vesselin Valkanov.

The parties reviewed the friendly and partnership-based relations between Georgia and Bulgaria. Particular attention was also paid to the two countries’ European aspirations and shared values.

The participants expressed hope that cooperation between Georgia and Bulgaria would continue actively in the future and deepen even further.

Nino Tsilosani and Levan Makhashvili thanked the Ambassador for his contribution to strengthening bilateral relations between the two countries. They noted that cooperation with him had been productive and successful and wished him every success in his future endeavors.
