The Parliament approved with 89 votes the Draft Resolution on the recognition of MP power for Imeda Nikuradze as a replacement for the retired MP, Mikheil Sarjveladze.

According to the Chair of the Procedural Issues and Rules Committee, Irakli Kadagishvili, the Committee discussed the documents submitted by the Central Election Commission evidencing the eligibility of the Parliament to recognize MP powers for I. Nikuradze.

The MP powers of M. Sarjveladze have been terminated ahead of time due to his appointment as the Minister of IDPs, Health, Labor and Social Protection.
