The Committee discussed the recognition of the Credentials for Giorgi Khakhubia and Salome Jinjolava; G. Khakhubia was elected through the by-elections on April 29, 2023, by the majoritarian system in the Constituency N26.

As the Chair of the Committee, Irakli Kadagishvili stated, the Central Election Commission has submitted all protocols and documents necessary for the election of G. Khakhubia and hence, the Committee recognized his credentials.

Next, the Committee discussed the recognition of credentials for S. Jinjolava, substituting Maia Menagarishvili. Per clarification of I. Kadagishvili, S. Jinjolava has been nominated by the party list of the Georgian Dream.

The Parliament will vote for the recognition of the credentials of the hereof candidates at the plenary session.
