Member of the Georgia-Japan Parliamentary Friendship Group, Shota Khabareli held a meeting with the Ambassador of Japan, H.E. Hideki Ishizuka and discussed the bilateral relations and further prospects of cooperation.

The emphasis was made on the development of parliamentary ties and cooperation in the sphere of sports.

The parties gave an assessment to the visit of the Georgian Parliamentary Delegation to Japan. As noted, the Head of the Japan-Georgia Parliamentary Friendship Group schedules to serve a visit to Georgia in August.

Sh. Khabareli thanked the Ambassador for supporting the territorial integrity of Georgia.
