Meeting of Shota Khabareli with the Charge d’Affaires of the Republic of Korea, Kim Tong Op

Shota Khabareli, First Deputy Chair of the Sports Committee and Head of the Georgia-South Korea Parliamentary Friendship Group, held a farewell meeting with Kim Tong Op, Chargé d’Affaires of the Republic of Korea to Georgia.
During the meeting, they reflected on the diplomat's tenure in Georgia and highlighted the projects and programs jointly implemented with the participation of both countries.
Discussions also focused on trade and economic relations between Georgia and South Korea, investment projects, cultural cooperation, and support for the tourism sector.
Shota Khabareli noted that an active format of cooperation has been established between the parliaments of Georgia and South Korea, evidenced by numerous high-level bilateral visits. He emphasized that South Korea is a friendly nation that firmly supports Georgia’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.
The head of the Parliamentary Friendship Group with South Korea expressed gratitude to the Korean diplomat for his mission in Georgia and wished him success in his future endeavors.
