The meeting of Anri Okhanashvili and Giorgi Kakhiani with the Delegation of the Independent Commission for Overseeing the Implementation of the Constitution of Afghanistan
The Chair of the Procedural Issues and Rules Committee, Giorgi Kakhiani and the member of the Legal Issues Committee, Anri Okhanashvili met with the ICOIC President and the members.
Georgian MPs provided the information about the Parliamentary oversight and Parliament-Constitutional Court cooperation, as well as legislative and Committee activities.
“They were interested in information about the parliamentary oversight process. The Delegation members asked about cooperation of the Parliament with the Constitutional Court and the agencies Heads of which are elected by the Parliament. We discussed the procedures of consideration of the Bills, vote of confidence to the Government and the Committee activities”, - A. Okhanashvili noted.
The ICOIC Delegation serves the visit to Georgia with organization of Max Planck Foundation for International Peace and the Rule of Law.
