The Deputy Chair of the Regional Policy and Self-Government Committee, Merab Kvaraia held the meeting with the Director of Democracy, Governance & Social Development at USAID Georgia, Adam Schmidt and the representatives of the Office.

The parties stressed the needs and plans for local authority decentralization reform, dwelt on the challenges the local authorities encounter and emphasized the role of the civic engagement. M. Kvaraia the USAID representatives for cooperation and support and hoped for further productive cooperation.
