Zaza Lominadze, the Chair of the Health Care and Social Issues Committee hosted his Azerbaijani counterpart, the Chair of the Labour and Social Policy Committee of the Milli Majlis, Musa GULIYEV, who visits Georgia within the framework of the visit of the Chairs of the Committees of the Milli Majlis of Azerbaijan.

At the meeting, the parties underscored the importance of the enhancement of the centuries-old friendship between the countries, including the parliamentary cooperation.

“Naturally, we attached our attention to our collaboration in the medical sphere. We agreed on the development of health tourism and cooperation in the sphere of transplantation. Our cooperation prospects also encompass the migration processes and the demographic problems as relevant and urgent pressing points for both nations”, - Zaza Lominadze noted.

The parties agreed on certain collaboration plans and reconciled the positions on scheduling the next meeting of the Committees in Azerbaijan.

The meeting was attended by the First Deputy Chair of the Health Care and Social Issues Committee, Vladimir Kakhadze.
