Delegate of Tkibuli, Terjola, Zestaponi and Baghdati, Zviad Shalamberidze met with teachers and students of the Second Obcha Public School of Baghdati Municipality, who were visiting Parliament.

The Member of Parliament spoke about the reform of general and higher education and emphasized the role and importance of vocational education.

The students expressed interest in the activities of Parliament and its committees, on which Zviad Shalamberidze provided them with information.

During the meeting, teachers discussed the infrastructure needs of the school. It was noted that certain schools in Baghdati Municipality require rehabilitation works and that their restoration and rehabilitation are being carried out gradually in accordance with prepared projects.

As part of their visit to Parliament, the students and teachers toured the Ekvtime Takaishvili Museum of Georgian Parliamentarianism.
