Chair of the Defence and Security Committee of the Parliament of Georgia, Aleksandre Tabatadze, met with the Chair of the Defence Committee of the Congress of Deputies of Spain, Alberto Fabra, in Madrid.

During the meeting, Aleksandre Tabatadze expressed his gratitude to the host side for supporting Georgia’s sovereignty, territorial integrity, and the country’s Euro-Atlantic integration process.

The discussion focused on strengthening bilateral cooperation between the two countries.

“I had a productive meeting with Alberto Fabra, Chair of the Defence Committee of the Spanish Congress of Deputies. We discussed global security challenges, as well as past, ongoing, and future projects between our countries in the field of defence and security. There was mutual interest in further deepening cooperation, and as a result, we agreed to plan bilateral visits in the near future", - Aleksandre Tabatadze stated.
