Alexander Tabatadze, Chair of the Defense and Security Committee, and the members of the Delegation, met with the Chair of the Intelligence and Security Committee of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey, Veysal TİPİOĞLU, and the Committee members. 

The emphasis was placed on the Georgia-Turkey truly friendly relations, which is evidenced by the strategic partnership. The parties touched upon the processes in the region and a wider world and the significance of the joint efforts for peace and stability in the region. 

The discourse addressed bilateral cooperation in the security sector. At this point, the parties underlined the close collaboration between the respective agencies of the two countries. 

The two sides accentuated the significance of the ties between the respective legislative bodies and the Committees and the active exchange of high-level visits.
