
On 21–22 May, the Chair of the Defence and Security Committee, Aleksandre Tabatadze, participated in the Parliamentary Intelligence and Security Forum held in Madrid, Kingdom of Spain.
The forum was hosted by the President of the Senate of Spain, Pedro Rollán Ojeda, and former U.S. Congressman Robert Pittenger.
The agenda oaf the Madrid Forum covered a broad spectrum of issues, including artificial intelligence and its implications for global security, cryptocurrencies and digital currencies, foreign investments, neurotechnologies, energy security and critical minerals, cybersecurity, the role of human trafficking in financing terrorism, transnational challenges, and border protection.
The event brought together members of parliament, representatives of the executive branch, and experts from more than 60 countries.
