Meeting of Aluda Ghudushauri with Representatives of the Academic Circe of Georgian Technical University

Meeting with lecturers, professors, and students from the Technical University of Georgia was conducted by Aluda Ghudushauri, the First Deputy Chairperson of the Human Rights and Civil Integration Committee, the MP explained to the visitors the goals of the state’s legislation-making initiatives in terms of upholding law and order and protecting human rights.

The meeting heard that the protection of individuals, their rights, and the principles of human dignity and the enjoyment of those rights are one of the government's top priorities.

According to Aluda Ghudushauri, in the legislative process, it is important to get to know the opinions, views, and suggestions of representatives of academic circles and higher education institutions, and the mentioned meeting serves this purpose.

"We discussed our outlooks on Georgia's future and its future development during the discussion with academics and students from the Technical University of Georgia. We discussed the measures that have already been put into place and the paths that are crucial for Georgia's democratic development. The more informed academic community representatives, students, and members of society are about the actions of the legislative body, the more engaged they will be and the more dynamic the cooperation between them will be", - Aluda Ghudushauri remarked.

The participants of the meeting agreed on the format of further cooperation and noted the importance of submitting legislative proposals to the Parliament regarding various issues.
