Anri Okhanashvili, the Chairman of the Legal Issues Committee, conducted an introductory working meeting with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United States of America to Georgia, H.E. Robin Dunnigan. During the meeting, they discussed the priority items on the Legal Issues Committee's agenda and explored opportunities for future cooperation.
"We discussed many important issues for our country. I thanked the Ambassador for supporting the territorial integrity and sovereignty of our country and for the contribution they made in supporting the process of granting Georgia the status of a candidate country. We also dwelt on the nine points presented by the European Union, on which we are working, and we agreed on further close cooperation, both in relation to these nine priorities and other issues, which I think will promote and further deepen the close partnership cooperation between our countries”, - Anri Okhanashvili stated.
