The Chair of the Diaspora and Caucasus Issues Committee and the Head of the Georgia-Latvia Friendship Group, Beka Odisharia held a meeting with the members of the Group for promoting cooperation with the Parliament of Georgia of the Saeima of Latvia and deliberated on the cooperation prospects with a special emphasis placed on the EU integration of Georgia.

“The friendly and partnership relations between Georgia and Latvia hit the highest point. We have always enjoyed the intact support from the Latvian authorities and people for our EU integration process. I, being the Head of a Friendship Group and the honorary consul of Latvia to Georgia, backed by and in collaboration with my colleagues, spare no effort to enhance the relations and cooperation between our countries to a maximal extent”, - B. Odisharia stated.

The meeting was attended by the members of the Georgia-Latvia Friendship Group, Gela Samkharauli and Greta Tsitsava.
