David Matikashvili, Chair of the Procedural Issues Committee and the Head of the Georgia-Kyrgyzstan Friendship Group, held a meeting with the non-resident Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan.

The parties underlined the historically friendly and cordial relations between the two nations and reviewed the cooperation prospects.

One of the central topics of the discourse encompassed the foreign and domestic policies of Georgia.

“At the congenial meeting, we discussed the relationship between the two countries. I outlined the key principles of our foreign and domestic policies and economic growth trends. The Ambassador offered to establish direct flights between Tbilisi and Bishkek, which we willingly approved”, - D. Matikashvili stated.

The parties agreed on active cooperation to advance the traditionally friendly relations to a higher level. The upcoming visits were also planned and discussed.
