Eka Sefashvili, the First Deputy Chair of the Sector Economy and Economic Policy Committee, a member of the parliamentary political group "People's Power", met with the parliamentary delegation of Turkmenistan.

The parties discussed issues of cooperation between Georgia and Turkmenistan and future prospects.

"During the meeting, discussions centered around enhancing economic, political, cultural, and social relations between our countries, as well as exchanging experiences across various sectors. We emphasized the significance of maintaining peace and stability in the region for both states. Attention was drawn to the importance of the Silk Road, and conversations delved into development prospects in agriculture, local governance, education, and the social sphere. Additionally, the issue of utilizing Georgia as a transit hub was addressed", - Eka Sefashvili commented.
