The Chair of the Agrarian Issues Committee, Gela Samkharauli held a meeting with the Ambassador of Latvia, H.E. Edīte Medne and deliberated on bilateral relations, facilitation of economic links and cooperation prospects.

“I thanked the Latvian diplomat for supporting the territorial integrity of Georgia and the country at international theatre. We discussed the cooperation between our countries, including in the agrarian sphere. One of our problems is associated with the lack of education about high-tech in agriculture. In this regard, it is crucial for Georgian students to get educated in Latvian universities, to which the Ambassador pledged to render support. We developed the action plan and I hope to continue our productive cooperation”, - G. Samkharauli stated.
