The Chair of the Agrarian Issues Committee, Gela Samkharauli held an introductory meeting with the Ambassador of the Netherlands, H.E. Meline Arakelian.

The parties deliberated on bilateral relations prospects and accentuated the economic links.

“I thanked our Dutch colleagues for their support to our territorial integrity and the non-recognition policy of Georgia. I would also like to underline their support to granting the EU candidate status to our country. It is noteworthy that the Netherlands is one of the key partners and investors for Georgia and takes the second place after the USA worldwide in terms of exporting agrarian products and hence, their experience is interesting to us”, - G. Samkharauli noted.

He concentrated on the cooperation in the agrarian education sphere and qualification for the specialists.
