The Chair of the Culture Committee, Giorgi Gabunia, attended the solo concert of the Gori Women’s Choir held at the Pantheon in Rome.


The event was organised in connection with the Vatican’s Jubilee Year and marked Georgia’s first participation.



The concert featured works of various genres and hymns composed by Georgian composers.



The Jubilee Year is celebrated in Italy’s Capital once every 25 years, and its tradition dates back to the year 1300.
The event was also attended by Georgia’s Culture Minister, Tinatin Rukhadze.
