Giorgi Kakhaini, the Vice-Speaker and a member of the Parliamentary Delegation to the Francophonie Parliamentary Assembly, participates in the 37th Annual Session of the Francophonie Parliamentary Assembly for the European region.

The session included the panel discussions on various topics, including the economic challenges, employment problems and the youth engagement in the economic development.

The Assembly adopted the declaration emphasising that the recent crises (conflicts in Ukraine, the Near East and regional instability) demonstrated the necessity of enhancing the economic sovereignty of French-speaking countries and diversifying the partnership. The role of the youth in economic development is pivotal and it is imperative to enhance their mobility, training and employment policies.

The Declaration also underscores the AI role in inclusive growth.

The session is attended by over 150 delegates of the Francophonie Parliamentary Assembly from 24 European countries and the region.
