MPs Giorgi Khelashvili, David Matikashvili and Irakli Zarkua attended the GUAM PA online session with the agenda including the grave consequences of the war in Ukraine, causing acute energy supply problems. The attendees discussed the cooperation prospects and further plans under the security and energy crisis.

The Head of the Georgian Delegation, G. Khelashvili delivered the speech and underlined the unwavering support of Georgia to Ukraine and the Ukrainian people; he dwelt on the importance of cooperation between the GUAM countries for the energy security of Ukraine and Europe.

He informed the delegates about the situation on the occupied territories of Georgia.

The session was attended by the Parliamentary Delegations from GUAM PA countries, as well as the representatives of the Baltic Parliamentary Assembly.
