The First Vice-Speaker, the Head of the Georgia-China Friendship Group, Giorgi Volski held a meeting with the Deputy Minister of the International Department of the Central Committee of the Ruling Party of China, Chen Zhou and his accompanying delegation.

The parties deliberated on bilateral relations and parliamentary cooperation. The emphasis was placed on the Strategic Partnership Agreement, as well as the visa-free travel regime for Georgian citizens to China, which facilitates the enhancement of links between the countries.

The parties affirmed their support to the sovereignty and territorial integrity of both countries.

The meeting was attended by the Chair of the Culture Committee, Eliso Bolkvadze; the First Deputy Chair of the Environmental Protection and Natural Resources Committee, Khatia Tsilosani; and the First Deputy Chair of the Culture Committee, Irakli Mezurnishvili.
