
Givi Mikanadze, the Chair of the Education, Science and Youth Affairs Committee, and Akaki Aladashvili, the Delegate for Saburtalo district from the “Georgian Dream - Democratic Georgia”, visited public schools in the Saburtalo district - Public Schools N161, N64, N60, N195, and the First Experimental School and got cognizant of the school infrastructure and the needs and problems to be solved.
“In collaboration with the Education, Science, and Youth Ministry and local authorities, the Georgian Parliament conducts visits to public schools in Tbilisi. We have already visited schools in the Nadzaladevi, Chugureti, and Gldani districts. We anticipate that our collective efforts will yield substantial outcomes”, - G. Mikanadze noted.
As A. Aladashvili noted, the Committee keeps on getting cognizant of the school infrastructure in various districts.
“During our visit to five public schools in the Saburtalo district, we gained insights into the challenges they face and engaged in discussions on potential solutions. Our aspiration is to empower children with a brighter future and ensure they have safe and conducive learning environments”, - he asserted.
Mr. Mikanadze and Mr. Aladashvili, during their visit to Saburtalo, were accompanied by the member of the Education, Science and Youth Affairs Committee, Lika Shartava; the Deputy Education, Science and Youth Ministers, Tamar Makharashvili and Giorgi Jincharadze; the Director of the LEPL Educational and Scientific Infrastructure Development Agency, Irakli Kuprava; the Governor of the Saburtalo district, Gizo Vasadze; and the members of local municipalities.
