The Legal Issues Committee elected Guram Macharashvili as the Deputy Chairman of the Committee.

Guram Macharashvili's candidacy was submitted by eight non-attached members of the parliamentary majority.

According to the Rules of Procedure, a group of no less than seven non-attached MPs, included in the parliamentary majority, has the right to nominate one deputy chairman of the Committee.
