The Chair of the Procedural Issues and Rules Committee, Irakli Kadagishvili held a meeting with the Political Officer of the British Embassy, Stephen McCormick.

The meeting was attended by the First Deputy Chair, Irakli Shatakishvili and Committee members – Genrieta Tsitsava and Giorgi Kakhiani.

The parties discussed the fulfillment of the EU recommendations, the improvement of respective legislation and the Parliamentary activity in this process.

Georgian MPs highlighted the activities of the Working Group and touched upon the legal changes improving the Parliamentary oversight mechanisms.

Mr. McCormick shared the British experience in this sphere.
