
The Chair of the Procedural Issues and Rules Committee, Irakli Kadagishvili participated in the Inauguration of the newly elected President of Argentina, Javier Milei on behalf of Georgia.
He delivered the greetings to President Milei, Vice-President Victoria Villarruel, and Foreign Minister, Diana Mondino.
I. Kadagishvili affirmed the commitment of Georgia to the President of Argentina to further enhance and extend bilateral relations.
“Mr. President, I would like to congratulate you on the election of this supreme position and reaffirm the respect and desire of Georgia to further enhance and develop the relations between Georgia and Argentina in politics, and in the economic and humanitarian directions. Please, accept the sincere congratulations from me personally, and from the Parliament, Government and the people of Georgia”, - he addressed the President.
President Milei thanked I. Kadagishvili for participating in the inauguration on behalf of Georgia. I. Kadagishvili also attended the swear-in ceremony of the President and the Vice-President in the Congress of Argentina, and the inter-religion ceremony in the Cathedral of Buenos Aires, as well as attended the play “Colón” staged in the theatre dedicated to the inauguration.
The aforementioned ceremonies were also attended by the Ambassador of Georgia to Argentina, H.E. Gvaram Khandamishvili.
