The First Deputy Chair of the Culture Committee, Irakli Mezurnishvili held a meeting with the Ambassador of Japan, H.E.  Imamura Akira to discuss the cooperation and friendship between the countries, and certain capacities for new directions of cooperation in the cultural sphere.

“We discussed the relations between our countries, including in cultural sphere. Next year, we celebrate the 30th anniversary of diplomatic relations between our countries and we cherish the idea to make a documentary on Georgia-Japan relations. I believe the project will be very interesting and will further enhance our relations in all directions”, - I. Mezurnishvili stated.
