Mariam Lashkhi and Giorgi Sosiashvili visiting the examination centers

Mariam Lashkhi, Chair of the Education, Science and Youth Affairs Committee, visited the examination center operating in Tbilisi Public School N147 on the occasion of the start of the unified national exams. Mme. Lashkhi was provided with a tour of the examination halls.

“I extend my sincere congratulations to the entrants and the schoolchildren registered for the examinations, on the beginning of the national examinations. This day presents an opportunity for them to demonstrate their knowledge and diligence. I wish them the best of luck as they embark on this new chapter of their lives. The examinations will be conducted in 24 examination centres across 12 cities throughout the country. It is commendable that the infrastructure has been meticulously adapted to accommodate individuals with disabilities and those with special needs. I express my gratitude to the dedicated academic and technical personnel of the National Assessment and Examination Centre for their unwavering commitment to ensuring a safe and orderly examination process”,  - M. Lashkhi stated.

Over 39,000 entrants have been registered for the national exams in 2025, while over 2,400 students applied for the grant competition and more than 10,000 master’s candidates passed the registration for the master’s examinations; in parallel, over 24,300 applicants have been registered for the teachers’ and pedagogues’ exams.

Giorgi Sosiashvili, the Deputy Chair of the Education, Science and Youth Affairs Committee, visited the examination center in Gori Public School N3. He got cognizant of the organization process and conversed with the center representatives. G. Sosiashvili expressed good luck to the entrants on the exams.
