Mariami Lashkhi, Chair of the Education, Science and Youth Affairs Committee and the Chair of the Interim Commission on Women and Children, together with Rima Beradze, a member of the Commission, attended an event organized by the Neurobalancing Center in support of families of children with special needs.

Within the framework of the event, presentations were held for the “Parents’ School,” the Tata Foundation, and the book “From One World to Another: Meeting Our Unique Child,” which represent important support resources for children with special needs and their families.

Special attention was paid to the importance of strengthening support for families of children with special needs. It was noted that, despite existing progress, a number of challenges remain in the field, and that effective resolution of these issues requires close cooperation between the legislative and executive branches.

The main objectives of the Neurobalancing Center and the Tata Foundation are to enhance therapeutic and emotional support for children with special needs, raise parents’ awareness, and develop accessible services for families, thereby promoting the integration of children into society and improving their quality of life.
