Mariam Lashkhi, Chair of the Education, Science and Youth Affairs Committee, her First Deputy, Giorgi Chakvetadze and the Committee member, Chair of the Political Group “People’s Power”, Eka Sepashvili met with the San Diego State University and I2Q project representatives.

The meeting was dedicated to the deliberations on the preschool education system, as well as the gaps revealed as a result of the research and assessments.

“We reviewed the scheduled challenges aiming at the improvement of infrastructure, upgrading of the academic methods, requalification of the administrative and academic personnel and the refinement of the educational programs. We agreed on further cooperation”, - E. Sepashvili noted.

As the Committee members underlined, the Committee intends to actively engage in the educational development modifications and the enforcement monitoring process.
