Nikoloz Samkharadze, Chair of the Foreign Relations Committee, and the Head of the Georgia-Chile Parliamentary Friendship Group, met with the member of the Senate of Chile, Rojo Edwards, serving a visit to Georgia.

The parties reviewed bilateral relations and cooperation prospects, as well as the opportunity of concluding the Free Trade Agreement and parliamentary ties.

Mr. Samkharadze expressed his gratitude to the Senator for the support of Chile for the Resolution submitted by Georgia to the UN on “Status of the IDPs and Refugees from Abkhazia, Georgia, and Tskhinvali region/South Ossetia, Georgia”.

The two sides stressed that both countries share the positions on all aspects of international challenges.
