
Nino Tsilosani, the Vice-Speaker, met with the State Secretary for Bilateral Relations of Hungary, Boglárka Illés.
The parties reviewed bilateral relations and cooperation prospects.
As Ms. Tsilosani noted, the visit of the State Secretary facilitates the enhancement of Georgia-Hungary relations.
“Hungary is a strong supporter of Georgia and an ideological partner on issues relating to the country’s sovereignty and the interests of its people. We have organised several initiatives, including gatherings for women politicians and women in diplomacy. Our meeting today will be another step towards establishing new relations, which we will continue with Hungary both at the parliamentary level and in the direction of women’s and family values”, - N. Tsilosani stated.
The meeting was attended by the Deputy State Secretary for Energy Security, Csaba Marosvari and the Ambassador of Hungary, H.E. Petra Ponevács-Pana.
