The Bureau determined the plenary agenda for the current week

The plenary sessions within the current week are convened on November 11 and 12.

On November 11, Tuesday, the plenary session will be dedicated to political statements; the agenda also includes the Draft Laws. On Wednesday, November 12, Wednesday, the Parliament is discussing the revised Draft State Budget 2026.

The Committees commence the consideration of new legal initiatives, including the Draft Municipal Code, and the Draft Law on Higher Education.

According to the proposed amendment to the Municipal Code, the validity period of the provision concerning the development of infrastructure within a municipality’s territory will be extended until January 1, 2031. Under the Draft Law on Higher Education, instead of determining the maximum, average, and minimum amounts of full and partial state academic grants for higher education programs for the 2025–2026 academic year, the Government of Georgia will now determine them up to and including the 2027–2028 academic year. In addition, the draft law provides for the postponement of the deadline for developing the concept/model and standard of an online university until January 1, 2028.
