The First Deputy Chair of the Faction “Georgian Dream”, Rati Ionatamishvili held a meeting with the Ambassador of Norway, H.E. Bergljot Hovland and deliberated on the Georgia-Norway bilateral relations, the challenges in the region and the Euro-Atlantic integration of Georgia.

The parties agreed on further cooperation.

“We discussed the EU and NATO integration of Georgia and the progress we have achieved on this path through democratic reforms. Norway is one of the strong supporters of Georgia and against the background, when 20% of our territories are occupied, it acquires even higher importance that Georgia still proves to be capable of achieving progress in terms of the enhancement of cooperation with the EU and NATO. I informed the Ambassador about the disinformation disseminated by the internal and external actors against Georgia and noted that in response, we need to ensure progress on our EU integration path”, - R. Ionatamishvili noted.
